I am a journalist, writer and author with over 15 years’ experience and a former actress having spent 20 years performing on the professional stage.

After writing on being Gwyneth Paltrow’s body double for Jane, I became a regular contributor to the British edition of Glamour before moving on to other titles including shifts on the features desks of Grazia and Look.

Since relocating from New York City via London to Lübeck, Germany, I am now a freelance writer for a variety of diverse publications, many of which are showcased in the Stories section of this site. I specialise in real-life features focusing on women’s issues. Recent works can be found in Woman, Woman’s Own, Closer and Saga Exceptional.

I have a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa, a Graduate Certificate in Periodical Journalism from the London College of Communication, and an MA in English and American Literatures, Cultures and Media from the Christian Albrechts Universität in Kiel, Germany.

In 2023, I obtained a teaching certificate from the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Schleswig-Holstein.

I am fluent in English and German.
